Why "Aurora Borealis professional" is the best choice

- It's an excellent partner to spend some time playing draughts with.

Built-in program engine has a master candidate level o­n Russian/Brasilian/Pool draughts and average level o­n English/Italian/International.

However, you may use for play and analysis purposes free external draughts engines: all of them are world top-level draughts engines and already included in Aurora Borealis professional Kit.

Beginners players are welcome with lower play levels.

- You can play and analyse 7 variations of draughts: English draughts (American checkers), Italian (Dama Italiana), Russian, Brazilian, Czech, American Pool checkers and International draughts.

"Aurora Borealis professional" allows you to comment your games and add variations (look at an example.

Using "Aurora Borealis" and electronic draughts board (available for both 64 and 100 boards) you can play, enter, analyse games even without resorting to the keyboard or mouse! (Note! Electronic draughts board is not a part of "Aurora Borealis professional" kit and is for sale by Shahcom company.)

Турнирные новости Санкт-Петербург. Здесь продолжается традиционный Мемориал В. А. Сокова по шашкам. Вчера на турнир с опозданием прибыл юный спортсмен из Монголии, таким образом, в турнире участвуют представители 5 стран.
В open- турнирах после 4 туров лидируют:

Стоклеточные шашки - А. Миронов (Архангельск) и И. Леонтьев
(Санкт-Петербург) по 7 очков из 8.
6 очков у А. Логутова из Орска, по 5 очков у В. Симонова и
В. Журавлевой (Санкт-Петербург).

Русские шашки - С. Пойлов (Киров) 3,5 очков из 4. По 3 очка
у С. Чаусовского (Нижний Тагил) и Е. Вязникова (Санкт-
Петербург). Далее следует большая группа участников, имеющих
по 2,5 очка. Среди них гр Е. Степанов (Омск), мастера
спорта,  А. Савенок, Д. Лонд, В. Меркин, С. Павлов,
А. Смирнов, В. Щелкунов (все Санкт-Петербург), М. Глизерин
(Йошкар-Ола).

В юношеских турнирах прошло 3 тура.

Лидируют:
Стоклеточные шашки - С. Федин (Орск), А. Власов, К.
Максимова, В. Егоров (все Санкт-Петербург) по 5 очков из 6.

Русские шашки - Рафиков Наиль (Татарстан), А. Молодцов и В.
Антонова (Санкт-Петербург) по 3 очка из 3.
